Summer Lovin'

My girls love the backyard. 

Gracie wakes up in the morning and looks out the window to see if it's nice enough to go play in the backyard first thing. I have to convince her to sit down and have some breakfast first (and then I have to convince her that we don't have breakfast dessert).

I try to keep Emma all covered up because she's quite fair (and little), so Gracie had to stop playing and join us in the shade. Gracie is the little hobo puffing on her bubble pipe. 

And smiling for the camera.

And now Emma smiled for the camera. 

Fun in the sun! I can't wait for summer to officially start. We're ready.

Treasured Memories Layouts for May

I love this line from Echo Park. It's called Here and Now and it's so bright and colourful and the sticker sheet I got was really useable. I love the bright blue, too.

Remember this picture from the last post?

Feathers! See them on the background paper? I love feathers. I got this ridiculous sweater that's far too colourful that has feathers all over it the other day. It was on sale, and there may have been a reason it was, but I like it.

Sorry, I snapped these quick with my phone so they're not the best, but you get the idea. I'd recommend this line. I loved it.

Two Quicky Layouts

I have been trying to reach into my stash and use up some things. I seem to keep buying, and I can buy faster than I can scrap, so it's time to use my supplies!!

These were both quick layouts using 3 (3x4) photos. I like printing pictures this size, because it's quick and easy to print 2 pics on a standard 4x6 picture, and they're a little smaller, so I can cram more on a layout with a little bit of white space. Also, thanks to the iphone, I have tons of small, blurry pictures. 

These are a series of pictures that Gracie took with my camera. I don't know why, but I love her pictures. They seem to capture little things that would normally be missed. Her love of tiaras, her crazy socks, Emma laying on a change pad (ok, that one is maybe not so memorable, but really, how much time to kids spend getting changed and who has a picture of it??).

And, a few cute pictures of poor Emma getting another headband forced on her head, at much too young of an age :)

Did you notice my favourite grey chevron washi tape on both layouts? Again, making a visual triangle... I should just pre-rip 3 pieces of tape for each layout, I think.

Matching PJs

These two cuties got matching Pee Jammies, as Gracie would say, from my friend, Sam. I had to take a picture before they each grew out of them. 

 Pretty cute, right?

And, hangin' with dad in their pjs. We didn't get a matching set for him...

Dad Love

A little early for Father's Day, but I love these pictures of Emma and Brad. We took them at the farm last weekend. I showed one before, but I love them all.
