Love these girls.

Can you tell?

Every post, every layout, I'm obsessed.

I have to stop myself sometimes from capturing every moment and remember to just enjoy them sometimes.

They crack me up. They love forts and cuddling up together and they always try to sleep in the same room when we stay away from home (sometimes they can handle it....)

I hope they're always so close.

A few close ups:

Layers of vellum, tags, patterned paper, washi tape and a paper border.

A quote I saw that stuck with me.

Paper Diamonds

Love these pictures. Love them.

I wasn't sure what to do with them, but I thought they would be great cropped a little tighter than I had printed them.

This is another layout I did not design entirely by myself. I saw this one and loved it. I didn't have it to look at when I did mine, but I remembered the idea of the diamonds and the journaling and stitching along the side, so I came up with this:

Maybe this is cheating, but I love seeing something that inspires me and heading off to create something similar. For those days when you feel stuck in a rut, try doing what someone else is doing!

This design was also a great way to use scraps! I used leftover papers from Prima, Crate Paper and American Crafts for this and a one-off sticker from Fancy Pants.

Gracie's photos of Emma

More of Gracie's photos. She will be hosting a showing of her photos soon. I'll keep you all posted on the time and place.

;)

Okay, I cropped this one way down, but I love ho she's holding her baby here.

Look at the love!
Melt my heart.

Heidi Swapp love

Three more layouts made with my favourite Heidi Swapp paper pack,  Hello Today.

I wish I had kept track of how many pages I made with this line. I bet I made at least 15....

The colours just work for my girls. Hot pink, navy blue, white and beige seems to work with all of the photos I take of the girls and their friends!

Look at these sweet faces all captured with one line!

I still have lots of paper left, so I'm sure you'll see more from Hello Today.
Can't wait to get my hands on some new lines from CHA. There are a few that could be my next favourite.

Sooo big...

Emma is suddenly so big. She's growing up a little too fast for my liking. She's nearly too long for her crib already.

Recently, she started saying 'Wove you' back to me when I tuck her in. Makes my heart nearly burst.
For real.
I say it to her all day long just to hear it.

Sunday Morning Dance Party

Brad went away last weekend for a much-deserved Boy's weekend, so the girls and I made sure to have a pretty awesome Girl's Weekend here at home.

We are the Three Musketeers after all and why not celebrate that?

We went to a jamberry nail party Friday night, made waffles and then hit the dog park for a slippery walk Saturday morning, went for burgers and milkshakes at Soda Jerks Saturday night, and wrapped it up with a tea and dance party Sunday morning. Oh and lots of crafts. Lots of them!

What fun!

Singing and dancing and jumping and twirling. That's what we do when we dance. It must look wild, but it's a lot of giggly fun!

These girls have got moves!!

Flashdance anyone? Haha!

Thanks Gracie for the awesome photos!
A little cropping and I made them all black and white because our house is a riot of colours in these pictures, but this girl can snap a photo!

Loved our Girl's Weekend, ladies.

Scraplifting

I made this layout below after seeing a page on Pinterest. Check it out Here.

I like how it turned out. I used flowers, too, which I never do. I never feel like they fit for some reason, but I like them on this page. A few more splashes of Inka Gold, and some feathers and you can tell it's one of my layouts!
