Day 10 - Friends

We had a lovely visit with my buddy from elementary school, (or maybe pre-school?) Lacey. The girls love her and had so much fun sharing their Christmas traditions with her and yes, they loved the gifts she brought them.

Baking Sugar Cookies with Gracie. 

While they baked and cooled, she had a costume change and then came back to 'decorate'.

And we sampled them after supper. Delish!

December Design Team Layouts for Treasured Memories

I got two kits again this month to work with, one from Doodlebug Designs and one from Bo Bunny. 

I love the Doodlebug Designs papers. Great colour and very useable for boys or girls. 

My pictures don't make it look very white, but it is. The pics below are a little more true to colour.

And the Bo Bunny line below helped me capture some more snow day pictures.

Also, a little RCMP love.

December Daily Day 6 and 7

Oh man. We've been hit by bugs this past month. I'm a bit all over with my daily activities this year, because we've been so out of it, so this year's book may be different, but I think I've kept up with an activity or Christmas theme for each day. Let's hope I can sort it all out. 

Day 6 and Day 7 were spent with Grams and Papa. The kids were at the farm playing with cousins and auntie and uncles and of course their grandparents. What fun!

Day 6:

They made Frozen Christmas cookies. Cute Olaf cookies and fantastic Elsa and Anna watercolour cookies you could paint on. Whoa! Grams has good crafts at her house!

Then Grams packed up four kids under 6 to go watch Papa play hockey!

Emma found a puck and it was apparently a real treasure. She saved it just for Papa though.

Day 7: A cousin's tea party!

Oh what fun they had!

Layout Interlude

What a busy time of year! I thought I'd add a few pictures of layouts to keep from bogging you all down with our day to day seasonal celebration stuff. 

I love this line from Heidi Swapp. It's perfect for my two girls and all their bright coloured outfits, or even when they've got nothing on but their rubber duckies! Matches everything.

And this line from Glitz that we got at the last Treasured Memories Crop was perfect for a picture of me and the hubby. 

I think that's two layouts of just Brad and I I've done this year. Personal record ;) Our girls are just too busy being cute, I keep scrapbooking pictures of them!

December Daily Day 5

What's this? A date night!?!? 

I know! 

My parents took the girls for the weekend and Brad and I had so much fun. We went to his work party, did a bunch of Christmas shopping, went out for coffee together, had supper out and saw a movie, got a few things around the house organized and went out for brunch, because kids can never wait that long to eat ;) 

It was really nice, but I missed those two little girls. The house was so quiet....
